The integration of the Eastern and the Western cultures is achieved through the Co-Principals and Co-Teaching models unique to YCIS. Qualified and experienced Western teachers are recruited from the UK, New Zealand, Australia, and North America, etc. Equally qualified Chinese teachers come with extensive experience in education. Overall, over 50 percent of our teachers have more than five years of teaching experience, more than 18 per cent of our teachers hold a master degree or above, and 16 per cent of our teachers hold additional professional qualifications, e.g. training in Special Needs Education, IB training and IGCSE training.
