YCIS Year 11 students consistently bring home Top in the World and Top in Hong Kong for a range of subjects. For many years YCIS secondary students have hit the mark. We are delighted and proud to announced their high success again in 2015 IGCSE exam. In 2015, one student achieved Top in the World and four other students won Top in Hong Kong in the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards. Details are as follows:
|Top of the World||First Language Chinese|
|Top in Hong Kong||International Mathematics|
|Global Perspectives (2 students)|
The Outstanding Cambridge Learner Awards celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of learners around the world who have demonstrated exceptional performance in Cambridge examinations.
The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a two-year course set by the Cambridge International Examination board. It provides a well-balanced spectrum of subjects to external examination. Two must be languages, along with several compulsory subjects. Students make their selection of subject choice to complete the requirements.
While congratulating the achievement of these award winners, we await the success for the summer 2016 examinations.
