Belief Sees IB Top Student Shine as “Pearl”

Pearl Ho, our IB graduate of 2010-11, scores 44 points (out of 45 points) in the 2011 IB exam with full marks in English Language. When she was enrolled in YCIS in Year 5 nine years ago, she was placed in the school’s English Intensive Programme due to insufficiency of English. In less than a year, Pearl reached a level good enough to join the mainstream classes.

Pearl will go to the UK shortly, having accepted a university placement to study Philosophy and Economics at the prestigious London School of Economics. In the following media interviews, Pearl shares her experience in improving her English over these years. Please click the below links to find out more.
