YCIS Spotlight on Soloists Concert 2021
🎉Here comes the 14th YCIS Spotlight on the Soloists Concert! 🎶🎵This year, more than 50 students joined the audition, and 29 of them from YCIS Primary and Secondary were selected to perform in the concert. We have an international judging panel formed by renowned musicians: Marco Terlizzi and Raffaele Terlizzi from Italy; our In-school Individual Instrumental Programme (IIIP) instructor Ms Hidemi Gojo, and Dr Yu Yeung, the Head of Instrumental Studies. The concert will be broadcasted online on 22 Jan 2021 at 6 pm.

YCIS Christmas Pageant 2020
For the past 2 years, the Fellows in Residence Division, in collaboration with the Music Division, the Christian and Community Development Division and Primary and Secondary Schools, have performed the annual Christmas Pageant, which has become an essential holiday tradition here at YCIS Hong Kong.

YCIS’s First ISTA Virtual Drama Festival
On 19 November, YCIS made history by being the first school network to partner with the International Schools Theatre Association (ISTA) in putting up a 3- day virtual drama festival! Students of IGCSE Drama and IB Theatre from YCIS Shanghai Pudong, YCIS Shanghai Puxi and YCIS Hong Kong attended the event led by ISTA artists Fenella Kelly and Malina Patel.

Career Day: UGO, Teachers and Alumni Gave Year 7 Students a Heads-up on their Further Studies and Career Paths
In response to the Project-based Learning theme “My Journey”, 8 of our alumni across different fields and countries, including doctor, lawyer, entrepreneur, theater performer, and university students on visual art, occupational therapy, business management, and biological sciences, shared their university experience, career plans and achievements after graduating from YCIS. The event was held via video conference to facilitate effective sharing from alumni across the globe while observing the social distancing rules. The reunion between different student cohorts connects YCIS people as a big community.
