Evening of Science and Technology
On Thursday, December 1 a small group of Lower Secondary students from Years 7 and 8 along with our Science teachers, took part in a special event for VIPs from relocation companies, education consultancies and the media. The annual event was hosted by our Admissions team and took place at the Conrad Hotel. The theme of the evening was ‘Science and Technology’ and our students demonstrated some of their favourite classroom experiments and activities.
VEX IQ Robotics Workshop with Paul Roland Maiquez
YCIS has its very own Scientist-in-Residence (SIR) programme. Recently the SIR team hosted an exciting interactive VEX IQ Robotics Workshop with Paul Roland Maiquez for our Year 4 - 8 students. Class of 2016 IGCSE Top Scorers Achieve 11 Straight As
Giselle Lee and Kobe Chen, both currently studying our IB Diploma Programme in Year 12 achieved amazing IGCSE exam results. Embracing Integrated Subject Learning in Year 7

Since the 80th anniversary in 2012 our network of schools has annually marked the legacy of Yew Chung’s founder, Madame Tsang-Chor hang. She commenced the first school in 1932 with an early years’ kindergarten. Her vision remains at the heart of the schools’ philosophy.
