  • Top IGCSE Results 2015

    YCIS Year 11 students consistently bring home Top in the World and Top in Hong Kong for a range of subjects. For many years YCIS secondary students have hit the mark.   • YCIS Sports Success in 2015-2016

    YCIS had a busy schedule with the inter-school sports competitions throughout the 2015-2016 academic year. The various sports teams played over 300 fixtures throughout the academic year participating in a wide range of sports competitions. Students played against international schools in Hong Kong and China, all organised by International Schools Sports Federation Hong Kong (ISSFHK), Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation (HKSSF), Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS).

  • Multiple Offers for 90% Students from Top World 100 or Top 20 UK Universities

    The 2016 Year 13 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma students of Yew Chung International School – Secondary (YCIS) have just finished their examinations. While they are still waiting for the final results, they are excited to have received multiple university offers. This year, we are delighted to announce that every YCIS IB student has received four university offers on average. Now our students are waiting for the release of their final IB points so that they may confirm which university they will join and soon commence a new and exciting academic journey.

  • Year 12 Students win ‘Outstanding Project Execution Award’ at Harvard’s China Thinks Big Competition

    Back in January we reported news of a group of Year 12 Charity Club students, Alice, Olina, Lora and Kelly who had set up a new project entitled ‘Uniformity’ to help underprivileged school children in Sichuan. The project involved collection of second-hand uniforms from schools across Hong Kong and China, and using the materials to create new items such as pencil cases and shopping bags. The second phase of the project was to sell the new products and donate the proceeds to the students of the Daliang Mountain Primary School in Sichuan.
