    • Our students closed the successful year of 2015-2016 with plenty of gatherings to celebrate all ages. Special congratulations to the Class 2016, who graduated on 21 June at the YCIS Secondary campus.

Parents, the Directorate, the Secondary faculty and ninety-two Year 13 students attended the graduation ceremony to conclude their secondary international education. Many prestigious awards and honour rolls were presented to top achievers in many categories. The keynote speaker, (a Yew Chung alumni) Professor Tjonnie G.F. Li of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, gave reflective words to the graduates on their big day. The ceremony was complimented with students’ beautiful vocal and string performances.

As each of the Year 13 students stepped on to the stage to receive acknowledgment from the Directorate, we learned of their individual achievements and offers of universities gained. We are very proud of the tremendous collection of offers, from top universities around the world (see http://www.ycis-hk.com/en/news-and-events/school-news/3147-university-offers-2016)

YCIS Early childhood and Primary students’ advancement through 2015-2016 was also celebrated in the age appropriate fashions. At YCIS we acknowledge the individual and embrace the opportunity for well-rounded development to compliment learning advancement. Every step taken in a child’s development can be celebrated with love and support from home and school.
