In preparation for school resumption, YCIS has been working with Towngas and local bio-tech firm Raze Technology to ensure the canteen has been disinfected thoroughly. Photocatalyst coating was sprayed on all canteen surfaces on May 5. According to Towngas, the photocatalyst coating can disinfect 99.9% of bacteria and viruses on sprayed surfaces for up to three months.
