Yew Chung International School (YCIS) is again widely recognised by the community for its trustworthiness and credibility. Voted as the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand, YCIS won the Gold Award for the 12th continuous years in the category of “International School” since 2011.
The Reader’s Digest Trusted Brands Survey has celebrated its 24th anniversary of launching and has been regarded as one of the most objective and influential polls when it comes to consumer ratings on brands and services. Catalyst Research, a highly recognised independent market research agency was commissioned to conduct the independent poll, and to ensure results were compiled in an objective manner using proven methodology.
Over 8,000 consumers across Asia including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and the Philippines, were surveyed on their attitudes and perceptions of brands across various categories of products and services.
Consumers were asked to rate the brands they nominated on six qualitative criteria:
“Any consumer brand that wins the trust of the consumer market has achieved an enviable position – it takes years of careful business planning, execution and nurturing,” says Reader’s Digest Editor-in-Chief, Louise Waterson. “Being able to secure the trust of your customers is an extremely valuable asset, particularly during times of economic and social hardship. Trusted brands live up to their promises and this allows them to enjoy the trust of their customers into the future.”
Gold Trusted Brand Awards were given to products and services that led the polls in their fields. The award not only evidences YCIS’s persistent promise of delivering global education, but also represents a recognition of the unique education offered by YCIS.
“I’m grateful to Reader’s Digest for bringing readers together in the region, to emphasise once again the importance of a brand to live up to their promises,” says Mr Martin Scott, Education Director & Executive Principal of YCIS Hong Kong. “This is an incredible honour to be awarded the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Gold Award for the 12th consecutive year, recognising our trustworthiness and credibility among the community.”
